Cask condition beers are what we do best! Seven are always available to choose from at The Horse Chestnut, three are permanent and the other four change regularly, and we serve more than 250 different cask conditioned beers every year.

Our Three Permanent Cask Beers are:
Adnams Best
3.7% ABV, Southwold, Suffolk
A beautiful copper coloured beer, late and dry hopped with fuggles for a distinctive lingering hoppiness.
Bateman’s XB
3.7% ABV, Wainfleet, Nr. Skegness, Lincolnshire
A distinctive, well balanced bitter, with a refreshing dry bitterness on the palate and pleasing hoppy finish.
Castle Rock Harvest Pale
3.8% ABV, Nottingham
Brewed with a gently-kilned malt, this aromatic blend of american hops added during the brewing process give this pale beer excellent poise, our best selling beer.
